ShutterPod is run by me, Josie Purcell.
I created ShutterPod as a means to share my love of lesser-known, historic photographic processes (although in recent years interest in them has boomed, which is great to see).
When I’m not holding ShutterPod workshops, I can be found out and about in St Agnes with my friend Viv and our pooches collecting words and pictures for Humans and Dogs of St Agnes, or concentrating on my personal photographic practice through which I respond to commissions; take part in residencies; delve further into the history, and characters, of photography; and immerse myself in the world of camera-less photography.
And in addition to that, I’m studying for my MA in Photography via Falmouth University, and I also work as a communications manager.
